On Friday, October 20, Chotto Matte celebrated the opening of its San Francisco location, and the global restaurant brand’s first on the West Coast. Guests indulged in canapes and cocktails from the Nikkei menu, highlighting Japanese and Peruvian flavors; mingled during live DJ sets from Fusion x Soulfunky, Miguel Migs, and DJ D Sharp; and toasted to the official launch with Laurent-Perrier champagne and a ceremonious sake barrel smashing by owners Kurt Zdesar, Will Noble and chef Jordan Sclare. It was a spectacular evening attended by an enthusiastic San Francisco crowd.
