Wonder Funday brought families out for a special day at the Exploratorium on Sunday October 1, 2023. This annual fundraising event grants children and their parents exclusive access to the museum and includes new and favorite hands-on science demos led by High School Explainers, arts and crafts with local San Francisco vendors, and of course no visit to the Exploratorium would be complete without a visit to the newly reopened Tactile Dome. Funds raised from Wonder Funday helps support the Exploratorium’s free field trips and transportation for the Bay Area’s under-resourced Title 1 schools.
