The Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco hosted the Holy Family Day Home’s Light Up the Night Gala on Thursday, September 28, 2023. The event aimed to benefit early childhood education and support service programs for low-income, homeless, and formerly homeless families and children. Over 200 guests savored a reception and family-style dinner with a program, live auction, and fund-a-need segment that aimed to raise funds for three major initiatives: a sustainable food program, an infant/toddler play yard remodel, and scholarships for under-served children. Mary and Joe Toboni won the first “For the Kids” award in recognition of their long-term support for Holy Family Day Home. The event brought together the center’s supporters, including Clint and Janet Reilly, Jeannee Parker Martin and Mike Martin, James and Gerry Sangiacomo, Jennifer Coulson, John Ring, and Heather Morado, the executive director of Holy Family Day Home. San Francisco’s oldest early education center benefited from the night’s success.
